Jenna Wolf of Weekend Today spent time dancing, strumming and in general just loving her road trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Called America’s Favorite Drive, the Blue Ridge Parkway is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. It is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the country and is a great place for women to get back to nature and enjoy time together. Check out this video of Jeanna playing along on the Parkway, and see if you’d love to visit the places she stopped on your next girl’s getaway road trip.

During her trip to North Carolina Jenna Wolfe recreates the famous “Dirty Dancing” lift scene with Lyle Laney of the Asheville Ballet Company at Firefly Cove (original “Dirty Dancing” film site) in Lake Lure, N.C. The water was so cold it took awhile for Jenna to take the plunge! Be sure to check out this cute ‘behind the scenes’ video from the Weekend Today Show.

  1. That would be so cool!
And now I must bring the mood down and share just how old we all are:)
A couple of years ago I was working as a makeup artist at a Canadian Youth TV Station. Someone used the reference “No one puts baby in a corner” and the host of the show who is quite popular and cool said, “What does that mean?” “What are you talking about?”
Wow! Has it been that long?
